I Love You

I love you is a threat

as scary as they get.

Cyanide tipped bullet,

your heart-n-soul-n-wallet

all in the crosshairs now.

In truth don’t matter how

you react, deal’s been done,

nowhere to run under this sun.

Once those words are out an on the table

don’t matter if you’re willing or able,

ball’s in your court, you’re up;

try not to fuck it up.

But there’ll be tears and pain

on both sides time and again.

So why the hell you so happy,

with your smile wide and sappy,

when she empties her whole clip?

So she loves you, what a trip.
